Description:
Unitec Elevator, providing custom New York City Elevator vertical transportation solutions, has an opportunity for a Service Supervisor position.
This individual will direct and supervise the performance of the field operations for Unitec contractual service operations.Areas of responsibilities also include:
+ Route control and scheduling
+ Authorization of repair orders
+ Quality assurance to Unitec and the Customer
+ Safety
+ Technical backup of examiners
+ Scheduling of personnel for call back service and vacation
+ Managing the expenditure of labor, materials and other assets
+ Coordinating and conducting training for mechanics
+ Assisting in customer problem resolution
+ Tracking tasks against goals
+ Generating sales leads
Qualification:
+ Organized self-starter with a strong technical background who is interested in a career in the elevator industry
+ Must have solid leadership and communication skills in order to work effectively with customers and other Unitec employees
+ Must be a team player with good verbal and written communication skills; and with the initiative and motivation to be successful in a demanding, technical environment
+ Previous experience in a technical or industry-related environment is a definite asset
+ Strong computer and customer service skills are a must
Education: Technical degree or equivalent

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
